The brand name "TARCURRY" is inspired by the word "TarKaari," which means curry in Odisha. The brand's founder, Rashmi, is a food enthusiast and a skilled home cook. From a young age, Rashmi was fascinated by the flavors and aromas that filled her home as her mother cooked delicious curries in the kitchen. As she grew older, she developed a passion for experimenting with spices and ingredients to create her own unique blends and traditional recipes. Her cooking skills were so impressive that everyone at her in-laws' place was amazed after she got married. During the Durga Puja festival, a popular event in Odisha, Rashmi would cook and serve various vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries to more than hundreds of people for four consecutive days, including family, friends, and relatives. The food was so well-received by everyone. One day, Rashmi decided to share her culinary creations with the world and bring her recipes to a wider audience by starting her own line of packaged Indian curries under the brand name "TARCURRY." Her goal is to make it easy for people to enjoy the same delicious, mom’s style authentic flavors in the comfort of their own homes.
